Air Springs
When weights are unevenly distributed, air springs can automatically level the suspension, improving braking and axle loads. The truck or trailer may ‘kneel’ to aid with loading or be elevated to clear obstructions since the height may be modified.
When an air spring is employed, fragile loads are less damaged. Poor quality of air springs will cause your vehicle out of service so the cost of failure can be high. That’s why ATP supplies air springs from original equipment manufacturers such as Contitech, Goodyear and Firestone. All our air springs are manufactured to suit the specific truck and the application.
